Effective November 1, 2026 · Version 2026-11-01-terms-v1
Northeum Terms of Service
These terms govern Northeum, operated by Morris Digital Ventures LLC. Northeum currently remains an invitation-only beta for adults. Our initial public launch is planned for the United States; publishing these terms does not open access or announce an app-store release.
1. Your account
You must be at least 18 and able to agree to these terms. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and use only your own account. Do not share beta invitations or impersonate another person. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized access. You remain responsible for your own conduct, but these terms do not make you responsible for failures caused by us.
2. Fitness, nutrition and AI coaching
Northeum supports general wellness, planning and activity tracking, not medical care. Coaches are AI characters, not human clinicians or a monitored emergency service. Generated answers, food estimates, achievements and plans can be inaccurate or incomplete. Check recommendations, food ingredients, portions and exercise suitability before acting. Do not rely on the app to diagnose, treat or manage a medical condition, replace professional care, or confirm that food is allergen-free.
Use appropriate equipment and judgment. Stop an activity that feels unsafe and seek qualified care when needed. Weather and exercise demonstrations are informational and may be incomplete or outdated. No particular fitness, weight or health result is promised. Contact local emergency services for an emergency.
Relevant features explain when information is sent to an AI provider and allow the choices shown in the app. Agreement to these terms does not replace a separate permission required for health information or AI processing. Review a custom plan before confirming activation.
3. Your content and sharing
You retain rights in the content you submit. Give us a limited, nonexclusive, royalty-free permission to store, process, format, display and transmit it to operate the features you request, enforce safety rules and meet legal obligations. This permission covers service providers performing those tasks for us; it does not authorize selling your content or using private health information in advertising.
Only upload content you have the right and permission to use, including any people, music or other material shown. Choose the audience carefully. Private content is not a Social post for other members; authorized providers and moderators may still process it as explained in our notices. Friends-only content is shared with the eligible audience. If Public sharing is enabled and selected, people outside Northeum may view or copy it. Unavailable sharing options remain disabled.
Exporting or sharing a recap to another app is your choice and subject to that destination's terms. Deleting content ends our permission for ongoing display, except for limited backups, legal or safety records and processing needed to complete deletion as described in our privacy notices. We cannot retrieve copies other people independently saved or shared.
4. Community and safety
Do not post illegal material, sexual exploitation, nonconsensual intimate imagery, threats, harassment, hate targeting protected groups, fraud, spam, dangerous instructions or another person's private information without permission. Do not infringe intellectual property, evade blocks or moderation, scrape private information, disrupt the service or attempt unauthorized access.
Social submissions may undergo automated screening and authorized human review. Screening can make mistakes and does not guarantee safe content. We may restrict, remove or decline material or suspend access for safety, legal obligations or violations. Use the in-app report and block controls, or contact us about a concern. To ask us to reconsider a moderation decision, email the contact below with the relevant post or decision reference; avoid sending unnecessary sensitive content.
For a copyright concern, identify your work, the Northeum material or link, and how we can contact you. We may remove infringing material and restrict repeat infringers.
5. Privacy and deletion
Read our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy for data handling, providers, retention and your choices. You may stop using the service and request deletion in Profile or through our deletion page. Privacy rights and requests do not require you to agree to a release of claims.
Security notices
We plan to send required security-breach notices to your account email, with an additional in-app or website notice when required. You may instead request first-class mail by contacting admin@getnortheum.com with the subject Security notice preference. We will confirm and securely record your preference and mailing details. Add our contact address to your allowed senders.
6. Access, beta limitations and cost
Northeum is currently free to members. These terms do not authorize a subscription or payment. If paid features are introduced, their price and terms will be disclosed before purchase. Your internet or mobile provider may charge for connectivity.
Beta features are unfinished and may change or fail. We may limit availability, AI usage or particular features to manage capacity, costs, maintenance or safety. Saved records may be affected by defects; retain your own copies of information important to you. Where practical, we provide notice of significant service changes and a way to request your information. Suspension does not remove applicable privacy rights.
7. App and third-party rights
We permit you to use Northeum for its intended personal purposes subject to these terms. Northeum branding and software remain owned by us or their licensors; open-source components retain their own licenses. Voluntary product suggestions may be used to improve the service without compensation, but this does not expand permissions over your private health records.
External services and links have their own terms. For an Apple App Store download, Apple's standard application license applies unless a different license is presented in the store. These service terms do not replace or reduce rights under that license or mandatory store terms. Morris Digital Ventures LLC provides Northeum service support.
8. Availability and your legal rights
We work to provide a useful service but do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free outputs or particular results. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without additional implied warranties. Nothing here excludes responsibilities or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits rights under applicable consumer or privacy laws. These terms do not require arbitration or waive participation in a class action.
9. Changes and contact
We will identify updated terms and provide appropriate notice of material changes. Where agreement is required, we will request it before the changes apply to your continued use. Changes do not retroactively authorize new uses of previously collected health information.
